One has week passed. This is the moment of TRUTH. Is my diet yielding results or is it a complete waste of time and effort?
First Week Results
Well, it turns out my diet hasn’t been a complete failure. It didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted, but it wasn’t a total failure.
Last week, I assumed that I would lose 1 pound a day, or around 7 pounds a week.
I stepped on the scale this morning, and my weight has gone down to 319.4 lbs / 144.88 kg.
Last week, my weight was 322.6 lbs / 146.33 kg, so I lost 3.2 lbs / 1.45 kg instead of the intended 7 lbs / 3.17 kg.
Not very impressive, is it?
Possible Causes
Last week, I didn’t exercise. I did this on purpose so I could see how much weight I could lose without exercising.
So, this week, I am going to add a 7-minute morning workout and a 1-hour afternoon walk (weather permitting, since we are in the middle of the winter here in Chicago).
Next week, we’ll see how much exercising affects my progress.
Also, in a few days, I will be receiving food from a different supplier – Factor 75. Their food is a bit leaner than my current offerings from RealEats.com – by 30 to 50 calories a meal, which is not that many, but all those calories add up at the end of the day.
Morning Workouts
Here is the set of Morning Workouts I plan to complete every day, starting today:
